After a few months of nothing I went for an assessment workout which I accidentally quit. So I followed up with a free run. It went better than expected...but I am really out of shape.

Todays run was great! It contained a series of blue and green zones. The zones are speeds. The blue zone means you travel 1km per 5-9 min and the green is around 1km per 4-5 min.
Going into this workout, I thought that the blue zone was a nice walking pace. As it turned out, it os actually a fast walk or slow jog.
The effort has me tired, but I feel a sense of accomplishment!

Oh my goodness! This morning was insane. I went for my assessment run this morning and almost died. I run over twice the distance than yesterday (so I thought), but it was only about 70% further. Micoach (the adidas app I am using) couldn't gets good read out because I had to keep take walking breaks instead of starting out at a jog and build up to a sprint over 10 minutes.
Friday's run should be much tamer and easier for me to do at my level.
